Something happened in 2020….

I don’t exactly know what it was, but something happened and it was BIG.  

I’m not just talking about Covid, murder hornets and Kobe Bryant and John Prine dying either. I’m talking about something which caused, and I think will keep causing, major shifts in our global, national, international, financial, political, spiritual, local, technological, educational, personal, interpersonal, and intrapersonal relationships and it has forever changed the ways that we see and understand things as they occur in this world. 

It’s not like it was.  It’s a new world.

As an artist, this is very exciting to me.  It is exciting and possibly terrifying, but I made a choice many years ago that has been serving me well ever since I began making this choice every single day.

I CHOOSE TO SEE EVERYTHING AS HAPPENING FOR OUR VERY BEST GOOD.  No exceptions.  And this is what my art is about. 

We are in a beautiful new world if we want to be.  Every day we have this choice.  There is beauty.  There is harmony.  Whether we recognize it right now or not, there is goodness everywhere.

My art seeks to show the beauty in our world.  

My art seeks to show what CAN be in our world.

My art seeks to show what I believe to be truly important in our world.

My art seeks to present a viewpoint that you might not have considered before.

I use the techniques and the philosophies of the masterful artists who came before me, but I am adding to those building blocks and making them my own to show this world the way I see it.  I am an artist of this NEW WORLD.
