“Circle of Kids” Acrylic on wall of child’s room. A special thing about this mural is that since it is in the corner of the room, when viewed from a certain point in the room, the circle of kids bends into a heart.

“Sesame Street Mural” Acrylic on wall of baby nursery

This is a Trompe l’oeil mural of a goldfinch sitting on a branch. (Trompe l’oeil is a french word meaning “fool the eye”. It describes a mural that aims to trick the eye into thinking that something is really 3 dimensional when it is really just painted flat on the wall.

Here’s another Trompe l’oeil of a hummingbird drinking from a flower. The cracks in the wall are also just painted!

Another Trompe l’oeil mural. The branch, shadow, nest, Bluejay and vines coming out of the real cluster of decorative vines are all just painted.

Here’s a progression of how this mural was created

“The Battle” Acrylic on wall of my son’s room. This is a great example of how with your mural, ANYTHING is possible. I asked my son what he wanted on his wall and he told me, “How ‘bout Batman and Spiderman in a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader?” …. and here it is!

“Welcome to Venice” Acrylic on wall. The client told me that they would love to have it look like a hole was smashed through their wall and they could just walk right into Venice, Italy. So that’s what we did!

“Sunroom Retreat” Acrylic on ceiling. For this project, my client and her decorator wished to have the ceiling of her sunroom look as though it were taken off, with a marble bannister going around the perimeter. She also wanted it to look like there were decorative wrought iron designs that enclosed the top, but so that most of it was open and the clouds could be seen above. They envisioned birds, butterflies, flowers and vines living and blooming throughout. Now it is my client’s reality.
