Acrylic and oil paint on wood panel, 16” x 12”, unframed painted sides

Experimentation with materials mixed with ideas of rapturous spiritual experience and bliss fueled this small painting (At one point, attacking, gouging and scraping into the wood panel with a knife). These artistic experiments later led into other paintings, including the “Mystic Beasts” series which I am currently working in.
