Elvis Presley. The King of Rock & Roll.

I think Elvis was actually one of those rare souls sent to our planet to begin the global transition into the New Golden Age on Earth (I know, I’m strange - but hear me out :D ). Before Elvis, it seems to me that popular culture in America was carefully placed into a box of expected norms (See: Leave it to Beaver for instance). Rock & Roll,/Rhythm & Blues music was already happening by the time Elvis came onto the scene, but Elvis was the catalyst. Elvis was the lit fuse that led to the explosion of the modern counter culture of the young on a nation-wide scale. Elvis unlocked the bodies of the masses. This was a monumental domino, toppling in the progression towards the blossoming of this New Golden Age that we are now in.

Plus, a face like a Greek God, a voice like an angel and those moves didn’t hurt either!
